It happened in a dream one night, that I found myself in deepest Macon. Just me and Duane, reminiscing about the glory days. In his posthumous retirement he had really let himself go; hair up to his eyeballs, and down to his brow (a side effect of the coricidin). He described to me the elaborate shaving ritual he would undertake before performing each night; all the cuts, the blood. Sounded like something from the stations of the cross, or a pact with Beelzebub hisself.
Upon waking I found myself thinking about when the last time was that I had given that one a spin: it had been ages. I put the needle on. Locked inside the grooves, formed by the carelessness of countless prior hands, a crystalline dream spun forth before me in One Endless Perfect Riff...
