From the dust the music came...

We had acquired an inexpensive turntable from a friend a while back. It worked well for the price, save for one minor flaw; the needle was prone to collecting dust which would cause it to skip. In time I became fascinated with the imprecise breaks that would occur in the middle of what was an already metered piece of music. Using these fragmentary pieces, overlaid in various layers, and at times minimally effected, I have explored several of these dust created microcosms.
